Day 1 & 2 April 4 & 5, 2014

On Friday April 4th, our 1 PM  China Southern Airlines flight is 13 hours and takes us to Guangzhou China.  This is what we have previously known as Canton.   We have crossed the dateline and my body has no idea what time it "really" is.  We were served 2 meals in the latest "Dreamliner" aircraft.  It a comfortable aircraft, we have individual TV screens with a huge selection of movies and games to choose from, at our convenience.  Sleep eludes me.

Just under 2 hours later,  we begin the second China Southern Airlines flight of 6 more hours.  This aircraft is too tight for this long a flight.  The seats are tighter, everything is tighter.  We are served a fish dinner.  One passenger actually does faint.   We are all pretty miserable.

We arrive at the Delhi airport Saturday April 5th at 10:30 PM.  After boarding our Volvo touring bus and greeting our guides, we arrive at the Sheraton Hotel at midnight.  We are given marigold leis.  These are the only flower that bugs do not attack.  The hotel is beautiful.  Our luggage takes another hour and we are in bed at 1:30 am April 6th.
