The Flag of India

The National flag of India:  The colour of the top panel is India saffron, the bottom panel is India green. The middle panel is white, the centre the design is  Ashoka Charka in navy blue with 24 equally spaced spokes.  It was adopted in its present form in 1947.

In India, the term tricolour almost always refers to the Indian national flag.
The flag, by law, is to be made of khadi, a special type of hand-spun cloth of cotton or silk made popular by Mahatma Ghandi.
Usage of the flag is governed by law relating to the national emblems. The original code prohibited use of the flag by private citizens except on national days such as Independence Day and Republic Day.  In 2002,  the laws were amended to allow limited usage.  The flag code also governs the protocol of flying the flag and its use in conjunction with other national and non-national flags.
The saffron color represents courage and sacrifice;
white – truth, peace and purity;
green – prosperity;
and the Ashok Charira represents the Laws of Dharma (righteousness) and the eternal wheel of law.  The wheel also denote motion.  There is death in stagnation.  There is life in movement.   India should no more resist change, it must move and go forward.  The wheel represents tone dynamism of peaceful change.    Source: Wikipedia
